Mitchell brings his 35 years of commercial real estate leadership experience to projects and companies that engage passion, creativity and collaborative vision.  His goal is to lead, intercede, disrupt, spark, foster and promote innovation through the collision of new ideas, solutions and people.

For the last 35 years, Mitchell led private and public real estate companies where together with his team, he developed and enhanced buildings and environments, envisioned and delivered vibrant neighborhoods, and created enormous value – both aesthetically and financially. For the last 15 years, as President of Vornado/Charles E Smith, he directed the strategy, performance, and growth of an extensive, 20M+ square foot portfolio in the Washington, DC region. He successfully led and inspired teams through the peaks and valleys of real estate cycles, and along the way developed the most iconic projects in Washington, D.C.
