We're a national nonprofit organization supporting the health and well-being of men who have had unwanted or abusive sexual experiences. We also serve family members, friends, and partners of male survivors.

Researchers estimate that at least 1 in 6 men have been sexually abused or assaulted.

As it stands, there are limited resources available that speak to the unique challenges faced by men who have been sexually abused or assaulted, such as ingrained myths about manhood, and the social stigma and silence around the issue, which results in a lack of awareness. This means that many men repress their trauma and delay recovery, risking exposure to physical health issues, mental health issues, and social dysfunction.

We offer a wealth of information related to the effects of and recovery from men's experiences with sexual trauma. Men, friends, and family can chat anonymously with a trained advocate through our national helpline, available 24/7. We also offer weekly online support groups for male survivors, facilitated by a counselor. Our multimedia awareness campaign features portraits and stories of a community of male survivors—aimed at breaking through the isolation, silence, and stigma often connected with the issue. Based in Los Angeles, we also conduct trainings for professionals, organizations, and military branches around the world.

When men heal, not only are they able to live happier, healthier lives, but the people around them—including their families, friends, coworkers, and communities—benefit as well. In addition, we believe that men have a responsibility to engage in the movement to end sexual violence of all kinds, and that they will be more likely to do so if their experiences are acknowledged and their healing is supported alongside their bystander efforts.
