25 Bedford Row is a London-based, mid-sized set of specialist criminal defence barristers providing advocacy and advisory services in criminal matters. It is led by Tyrone Smith KC and Nicola Howard KC, with Alfie Lee serving as Director of Clerking. The set is ranked as a Tier 1 Crime and Fraud chamber by the Legal 500, reflecting its prominence in high-stakes prosecutions and related proceedings. Chambers UK describes the group as highly regarded in its core practice areas and notes that its practitioners are experienced in civil matters, including defamation and privacy, alongside its criminal work. In March 2025, 25 Bedford Row partnered with Koestler Arts to display artworks created by artists in the criminal justice system.
