Founded in 2005 by two former Royal Air Force pilots, 2Excel has grown from five people and four aerobatic aircraft to a fleet of 30+, with more than 600 people and an annual turnover of £70m.

With the rapid growth of its business lines and capabilities spanning the fast-moving aviation sector, 2Excel has become an emerging force in the market able to bid for and win contracts against much larger competitors. 

The company is headquartered at Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire with bases at Doncaster, Humberside Airport, Stansted Airport, Lydd Airport, London Southend Airport, and Lasham Airfield, and recently opened new operations at Prestwick Airport, Newquay Airport, and Shannon Airport in Ireland.
