3K Limited Partnership is a private investment firm focused on making control investments (and minority investments, in certain instances) in privately held businesses. In addition, 3K makes select investments with meaningful board participation in smaller publicly held companies. We seek to partner with outstanding management teams to help build enduring long term value. Unlike traditional private equity funds, our capital is internal (no outside investors) and therefore very flexible with no constraints with respect to time horizon.  The capital we invest is entirely our own personal capital.  We are actively seeking investment opportunities including management buy-outs, recapitalizations, growth capital, and restructurings.  We welcome the opportunity to speak with business owners/operators and their professionals and trusted advisors.  We also will work with executives seeking a financial partner to acquire a business that they have identified.
