5 Star Interpreting is run by the Deaf community, for the Deaf community. It was born on the precept that everyone deserves communication in the way that best fits them. Interpreters tend to be like a deck of cards. Sometimes you get a card you like, sometimes you don’t. This is a problem a majority of the Deaf community faces every day- hoping they get a card they like for their important medical appointments, job interviews, social events, presentations, and so forth. Our founders, Ben Daniel and Cody Simonsen, both drew upon first-hand experiences and struggles to establish 5 Star Interpreting with a mission to improve the interpreting experience.
