A-1 Florida Sod, Inc. is a privately owned grassing solutions provider headquartered in the Orlando, FL
area. When Ray Swart founded the company in 1969, his vision was to always deliver an excellent product while driving efficiency through the use of technology and quality control with zero compromise to integrity and safety.  He believed that by controlling every step of the process from planting to installation, he could maintain the highest quality product. Over 45 years later that vision resonates through our entire business as we proudly deliver grassing solutions to over 100 companies in Florida. Our sod farms are strategically located on either coast, allowing us to expeditiously cultivate, harvest, deliver and install throughout Central Florida without compromise.  We are the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) largest supplier of certified product, maintaining strict adherence to safety and consistently meeting project timelines.
