A-Abiding Care, Inc. was founded in 1983 by Joyce Kernan – a registered nurse and pioneer in the field of home care – on the principals of showing clients kindness and respect while providing the loving, compassionate care they need. Today, Joyce’s family, along with our loyal staff, continue her legacy and mission; to provide quality home care services to families in the Chicago area and provide meaningful employment for many caregivers, nurses and administrative staff. Certain conditions require specialized care that can only come from qualified, trained, and professional nurses and caregivers, like those at A-Abiding Care. With our in-home care services and faithful caregivers and nurses, we can provide a customized regimen of care that focuses on each client’s individual needs and personal environment with respect and integrity.
