A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation works to end lung cancer by funding translational U.S. research, educating the public for earlier detection, and supporting patients and families living with lung cancer.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in the U.S., claiming 130,000 American lives each year. Lung cancer kills nearly twice as many women as breast cancer with cases rising every year and the average age dropping to affect women in their thirties and forties. Half of those diagnosed never smoked or had already quit. The smoking stigma that presses down on this disease is unkind and inaccurate.
