A Family for Every Child (AFFEC) is dedicated to supporting the evolving needs of unhoused, foster, and at-risk youth in our community. AFFEC was originally founded in 2006 as a Heart Gallery and later as an Adoption Agency promoting the needs of foster youth most likely to age out of foster care through advocacy, adoptive family recruitment, and services. Adoption, however, is not a solution for all at-risk youth, and our program quickly evolved to include Mentorship, Host Homes for unhoused youth, educational engagement, and workforce readiness programs.
