A Helping Hand Counseling is a for-profit agency which provides outstanding out-patient mental health services to many in the community. We have convenient locations in San Diego and El Cajon. We offer out-patient therapy with Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists. We have admitting privileges at local in-patient free standing psychiatric hospitals and day treatment centers. Our psychiatric services include Psychiatric evaluations, medication evaluations and medication checks for those who need this service. Our psychologists offer testing for ADHD, personality disorders, and learning disabilities. Our front line, bi-lingual staff provides live coverage from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays. We provide the following Court Approved programs: 52 week Domestic Violence 52 week Domestic Violence/Substance Abuse Parenting Classes Anger Management Classes Sex Offender Treatment Program (for Juveniles and Adults) Non-Protective Parent Program 26 week – Cognitive Therapy Program Various staff members are fluent in Spanish German We deal with culturally sensitive issues and have many bi-cultural therapists.
