PATH is a nonprofit organization focused on teen health education, delivering programs that help young people develop life skills, navigate relationships, and build character to support healthier choices. The approach emphasizes a holistic view, recognizing that decisions can affect physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being. Headquartered in Valparaiso, Indiana, PATH serves seven northwest Indiana counties—Lake, Porter, Laporte, Pulaski, Newton, Jasper, and Starke—through in-school presentations, after-school mentoring, parent programs, and community events, and it has reached more than 120,000 students since its 1993 founding. In early 2021, the organization expanded its offerings with the Love Notes program, increasing its reach by 208 students while continuing to support more than 4,000 learners digitally through its existing programs. PATH focuses on reducing risky behaviors related to drugs and alcohol, teen pregnancy, bullying, and relationship violence, while promoting goal setting and healthier relationships.
