At A Yancy Life, we believe that lasting change for our world starts with equal opportunity in the classroom. With 42% of students in the Houston metropolitan area falling short of standardized testing thresholds and the majority being members of underserved communities, the road to change requires a guide. We become the guide to thousands of students each year by providing additional, individualized instruction in collaboration with district staff. Under the care of our Bilingual Tutors and Interventionists, these at-risk students are provided with structured support to get back & stay on track with their studies along with life skills to help them persevere through life’s uncertainties never losing focus on their education. A Yancy Life is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2003 with a vision to change the future of underserved communities starting with their most valuable assets—their youth. We create opportunities for full-time, part-time, and contract employees to give back to the same communities they were once from and the children they once were.
