A2SV Foundation | Africa to Silicon Valley is a leading tech academy and incubator that provides free, high-impact tech education tailored for high-potential African university students and transforming them into proficient software engineers, tech entrepreneurs, and innovators who can significantly contribute to Africa’s technological and socio-economic development. Recognizing that talent is everywhere but opportunity is not, A2SV was founded to bridge this gap. We partner with top African universities to identify exceptional male and female tech talent, provide them with free world-class tech education, and connect them with opportunities from hiring partners like Google, Bloomberg, Amazon, and Meta. As A2SV evolved, we developed an incubator arm where we hire our best alumni to develop socially impactful digital projects, providing a platform to create solutions that address Africa’s most pressing challenges. Over the past 5 years, we have: Trained over 800 students (600+ in Ethiopia and 200 from across 20 African countries), creating life-changing opportunities for young Africans. Secured 100+ job offers from global tech leaders such as Google, Amazon, Bloomberg, LinkedIn, and IBM. Organized Africa’s largest hackathon for two consecutive years, bringing together 4,900+ participants from 48 African countries to solve real-world problems with AI.
