Aardvark Straws is a Fort Wayne, Indiana-based manufacturer of paper drinking straws under the Aardvark brand. The business traces its lineage to Marvin Stone’s 1888 patent for the original paper straw and reintroduced the product in 2007 in response to rising demand for sustainable alternatives to plastic. Its straws are produced in the United States from natural papers that are FDA-compliant and food-grade, and they are marine-degradable and compostable. It serves customers in the food and beverage services sector, including restaurants and other service industries seeking eco-friendly straw options. After being acquired by Hoffmaster Group in 2018, the company relocated to a 100,000-square-foot facility in Fort Wayne as part of its expansion.
