The beginnings of ABC Depot go back more than a quarter of a century, to a small family owned hardware shop in North London. Then as we grew we took on a rented builders yard that was very little more than an empty space and our offices was a broken down old Portacabin that leaked like a sieve.. In fact, this is the very reason for our bucket theme - it’s to keep us grounded and so we remember where we came from - because in those early days, it was the bucket that stopped our paperwork getting wet and enabled us to keep those orders flying out the door and on time.. Today that bucket has come to represent opportunity. Not just for us but for our customers and suppliers too. It’s all about starting from humble beginnings and with hard work and high hopes being able to achieve something special. With the launch of two new ABC Depots, one in Welham Green near Hatfield and the other in Finchley Central, London N3, we want to show what good value combined with great service and exceptional support can achieve.. For us ABC Depot is much more than just another Builders Supplies Shed, this is about being a Builders Merchants of the future.
