ABCOV Companies, LLC is an environmental services firm based in New York City, New York. Its primary offering is the ABCOV Method, a non-thermal process approved by the U.S. EPA that destroys all six forms of asbestos and asbestos-containing materials, producing a recyclable non-asbestos end product and addressing hazardous and mixed waste inventories, drawing on 38 years of experience behind the process. The equipment is skid-mounted, mobile, and built from off-the-shelf components to scale with project size. Destruction happens on site under negative air containment, with no off-gas or discharge, and materials remain within the process until completion. Operators are locally accredited asbestos workers, and the process reduces the original asbestos volume to 30%–50% of its initial volume, producing a recyclable end product suitable for use in building materials while reducing landfill use and liabilities.
