Able Australia is a not-for-profit organization delivering high-quality, person-centred services to people living with multiple disabilities, including deafblindness, along with related community support programs. Founded in 1967 as an association for people with deafblindness and rubella, it now serves more than 4,000 individuals across ACT, NSW, SA, TAS, QLD and Victoria. Based in Surrey Hills, Victoria, the organization operates in the non-profit sector to help people with disabilities access support that enhances daily living and community connection. A combination of staff and volunteers enables its reach across multiple states. In 2023, the organization continued its long-standing partnership with Herbert Smith Freehills to host the Able Art Exhibition.
