Abraham Moon was founded in 1837 and today holds an enviable status as one of the country’s leading woollen and worsted manufacturers creating fabrics for the fashion and furnishing industries. All Moon fabrics are manufactured in our fully-vertical mill in Guiseley, West Yorkshire, and we are proud of our 'Made in Britain' heritage. The company controls all processes from dyeing and blending the raw wool fibres, to spinning of the melange yarns, warping, weaving and then finishing the fabrics. Moon has long held huge esteem in the world of fashion. The company has its roots in apparel fabrics and today boasts a customer base of many top fashion houses, including Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Paul Smith and many more. In 2005 we brought our design, innovation and heritage to the world of interiors. Releasing multiple new collections each & every year since, our own wool fabrics are utilised everywhere from five star hotels to 10 Downing Street, as well as being readily available from retailers & artisans nationwide. Bronte by Moon is our lifestyle brand comprising of ranges of interior & fashion accessories such as throws, cushions, scarves, hats and bags. With a renowned stock service available for a large selection of designs and colours, we also make bespoke accessories for brands including John Lewis, National Trust and Historic Royal Palaces.
