History

The Academic Credentials Evaluation Institute (ACEI), founded in 1994 and is incorporated in the State of California. ACEI is a Charter and Endorsed Member of the Association of International Credential Evaluators (AICE), a not-for-profit professional association recognized by the U.S. Department of Education that approves and endorsed private credential evaluation services in the U.S.

Mission

ACEI is dedicated to the advancement of international academic exchange and understanding through the dissemination of information on world educational systems and evaluation of international educational documents.

In the U.S., ACEI works closely with colleges and universities, Professional State Licensing Boards, the Department of Homeland Security (Immigration Division) and the Human Resource Departments of corporations by providing professional services in the evaluation and verification of international educational credentials.  

Internationally, ACEI offers its professional services including credential evaluation, training, curriculum and program review for credit articulation, to institutions of higher education and government bodies around the globe.

ACEI’s professional team of credential evaluators and counselors are engaged in all aspects of international educational exchange and participate in the activities of major organizations in the field. Their diverse backgrounds, knowledge of international languages, and overseas experiences contribute to the overall success of ACEI.

ACEI’s evaluations of international academic credentials and assessment recommendations are determined in accordance with established guidelines and represent the considered judgments of qualified evaluators. ACEI adheres to the approved Standards and Best Practices established by the Association of International Credential Evaluators.
