Academies for Social Entrepreneurship (ASE) is a small nonprofit based in Costa Mesa, California, focused on developing social enterprises—ventures that combine social impact with revenue-generating activity. Its flagship offering, the Social Enterprise Academy, provides training and mentoring and culminates in a venture competition to help organizations build the skills needed to attract growth capital and broaden earned income.
