Academy at Sisters is an emotional growth/ therapeutic boarding school for adolescent girls in need of structure and support in a nurturing environment.  

We have a Licensed Clinical Psychologist on staff who works closely with Case Managers and Academic Instructors as a Treatment Team to help young women struggling with emotional and behavioral issues. Additionally, we work with a Board Certified Psychiatrist for medication management. 

Academy at Sisters offers young women an opportunity to gain self-awareness, insight, self-confidence, empathy for others and personal accountability for their actions. Located in Bend, Oregon, our students participate in a multitude of outdoor recreational opportunities as well as Community Outreach/Volunteer Services and our Equine Assisted Growth Program. 

All of this is in conjunction with our superior academic component, which combines experiential learning and the use of Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences in order to effectively engage students in the joy of learning.

Academy at Sisters is licensed by the Oregon Department of Human Services and accredited through the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS).  We are a member of the following:  National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP), Oregon Alliance of Children’s Programs (OACP), Coalition of Advocates for Equal Access for Girls, National Network for Youth. We are recognized yearly as a prominent school and program through Woodbury Reports, Inc., receiving awards for Excellence in Education, producing positive and consistent results with at-risk children and their families.  Additionally, we have a history of  inclusion in the Parent Empowerment Handbook.
