Accelerate Institute, based in Chicago, Illinois, operates in the primary and secondary education sector with a focus on helping students in under-resourced and marginalized communities access high-quality education and safe, nurturing school environments. With more than 30 years of experience, the organization supports K-12 schools through a strategic approach to school improvement and leadership development, guided by the Accelerate Framework and Transformational Leadership Building Blocks derived from studies of high-performing, underserved schools.

It offers professional learning opportunities focused on change management, strategic planning, leading adult teams, data-driven cultures, and strengthening school culture. Depending on the membership level, leaders participate in one-to-one coaching or small-group sessions and can assess the current state of their school and their own leadership skills. In July 2023, Accelerate Institute launched the Accelerate Membership program, expanding access to its leadership development resources.
