We are a small business whose goal is to help international professionals living in the United States improve their American English speech and communication skills. We offer video and in-person classes for individuals and small groups - assess each client's speech skills with a complete North American English evaluation and then design a tailored program for that individual based on his/her specific communication needs. We offer classes for medical professionals with materials targeting medical vocabulary and communication. We offer classes for business professionals, in which we utilize specific materials focused on communication in the business community. We also offer academics in the sciences and humanities courses which are specifically suited to communication needs in the educational environment. Run by Catherine Ojakangas, a Ph.D., nationally-certified speech-language pathologist with years of experience, we utilize the most up-to-date materials and software. Dr. Ojakangas understands the physiology of motor skill learning, and applies the latest scientific principles to help clients learn as quickly and efficiently as possible.Classes can be held at the client's place of employment, at the well-equipped home office in Hyde Park, or by video.
