Founded in January of 2005, Access Carroll, Inc., is a nonprofit organization, offering free health care to uninsured, low-income residents of Carroll County, Maryland who meet certain eligibility requirements. Primary medical care is provided by volunteer physicians, nurses and other experienced medical professionals. By removing traditional barriers to quality health care, Access Carroll strives to help patients maintain good health and learn to manage any acute or chronic illnesses. The mission of Access Carroll is to improve pathways to primary health care for uninsured, low-income residents of Carroll County.
