Access of West Michigan partners with congregations, schools, nonprofits, and businesses to advance housing stability, food access, and economic mobility. Our work integrates structured casework, urban agriculture initiatives, and systems-focused Poverty Education. Access addresses root causes of poverty by leading capacity building and systems change for non-profits, congregations, and other change-making organizations. The vision of Access is a community rooted in equitable systems. We strive toward our vision by addressing disparities that create poverty in existent systems through a collective impact model to prevent poverty rather than react to it.
