A.C.E. - Associates in Cultural Exchange is a nonprofit organization based in Seattle, founded in 1973 to advance cross-cultural understanding through education programs. Its offerings included college preparatory English through the A.C.E. Language Institutes at partner campuses such as Montana State University, Seattle Pacific University, and Saint Francis University. Historically, the institutes operated in seven U.S. states and overseas in Japan, Australia, and Korea, while the World Language & Culture Ambassadors program provided language and cultural classes for elementary and middle school students. The organization also ran tailored training programs through its Training & Development Institute, including USAID-funded initiatives in leadership and sustainability. In late 2016, the board closed the organization after 43 years of operation. Two remaining Language Institutes were acquired by INTERLINK International Institutes, which continues to work with many of A.C.E.'s global partners.
