Alan Fox founded ACF in 1968. Noting the incredible housing growth in the area, Fox began to acquire, rent and then sell single family homes in the San Fernando Valley suburbs of Los Angeles. Following several years of success with these assets, Fox transitioned ACF’s focus into the multi-family apartment arena. This shift in focus was accompanied by an expansion into new markets in the Western United States. Later, seeing growing opportunities in the retail market, ACF once again transformed itself and began its current focus on neighborhood shopping centers throughout the United States.
