Acme Mechanical Contractors of VA, Inc. is a commercial plumbing and heating contractor serving the Northern Virginia area. They have grown in the past several years to 150 of the greatest employees in Northern Virginia, and have had the privilege to work with some of the finest Subcontractors and General Contractors in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. They now occupy a new facility with a total of 32,000 square feet of floor space for our sheet metal shop, pipe fabrication, and warehouse, along with another 7,000 square feet of mezzanine office space. Acme Mechanical is a family owned business. Gary London personally oversees the operations of Acme to ensure the quality. Gary is a master plumber, HVAC Mechanic and gasfitter. Acme is a member of DC Metropolitan Subcontractors Association and Associated Builders and Contractors. Acme does the plumbing, pipefitting, and welding in house. They fabricate and install the sheet metal duct work for all of our projects. In early 2000 they automated their sheet metal shop, by purchasing a new coil line and a plasma cutter. They take a great deal of pride in all projects, and expect the workmanship to be among the best in the industry. The only items subcontracted are the ATC systems, the plumbing and mechanical insulation, and the balancing work. By self performing much of the plumbing and mechanical system, it gives us greater control over the quality and coordination of the systems.
