ActionAid Italia is an international, independent non-profit organization focused on ending hunger, poverty, and social exclusion worldwide. For more than four decades, it supports communities in difficulty to improve living conditions and become self-sufficient. Based in Milan, Lombardy, the organization operates a broad network that includes about 65,000 activists and 142,000 supporters contributing to its work. It runs 25 projects in Italy and more than 200 projects across Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

It maintains transparency by making its financial statements publicly accessible, reflecting a commitment to openness about how resources are used. In October 2025, RUAF Global Partnership partnered with ActionAid International, with ActionAid Italia co-hosting a MUFPP Global Forum session on youth agency in building just and resilient urban food systems.
