ActiveStrategy was founded in 2000 when a seasoned software developer teamed up with an accomplished performance excellence practitioner. Together, they built ActiveStrategy Enterprise software to support time-tested management and improvement methodologies, as well as a suite of consulting services, and--more recently--iRound, an innovative mobile rounding solution for health care. Throughout our history, we’ve helped hundreds of organizations in nearly every industry achieve markedly better performance through our unique combination of software made for business users and consulting focused on breakthrough results. On October 1, 2012 ActiveStrategy was acquired by The Advisory Board Company, a membership-based organization that works with health care and higher education institutions to help them operate more effectively and deliver more value to their communities. This new partnership combines the leadership and solutions that ActiveStrategy has brought to the health care sector—including the iRound platform, ActiveStrategy Enterprise software, and expert consulting solutions—with The Advisory Board Company’s widespread reputation for bringing excellence and innovation to its members. We are located just outside of Philadelphia with an additional office in San Francisco. The Advisory Board Company headquarters are located in Washington, D.C.
