More than 7,300 individuals, the majority of them children, live in homes purchased through Acts’ homeownership program since 1995. Children living in owner occupied homes perform better in school. Neighborhoods where families are homeowners form more stable communities. When a family is able to save hundreds of dollars switching from renting to owning, they are able to breathe easier.
