The Adelaide Football Club is the largest sporting organisation in South Australia, with more than 75,000 members. Based in West Lakes, South Australia, it began competing in 1991 and now fields elite teams in the men's Australian Football League (AFL) and the women's AFLW competition, as well as a SANFL men's team. The club has a standing competitive record, winning AFL premierships in 1997 and 1998 and AFLW premierships in 2017, 2019 and 2022. Beyond on-field play, it runs community programs through the Adelaide Crows Foundation, supporting young people and broader community initiatives. In February 2025, Neil Balme joined the Adelaide Crows' board, a development noted for strengthening the club's leadership and expertise.
