Adelsheim Vineyard, located in Newberg, Oregon, was founded in 1971 with an ambitious idea: that the Chehalem Mountains could produce world-class Pinot noir and Chardonnay. More than five decades later, that belief has helped shape the Willamette Valley into one of the world’s great wine regions.

As the first winery in the Chehalem Mountains AVA and a founding producer in Oregon’s modern wine movement, Adelsheim has played a role in nearly every chapter of the region’s story. Our wines reflect the distinctive soils and climates of the Chehalem Mountains, crafted to express a true sense of place.

Stewardship is central to our work. Adelsheim is a LIVE Certified Sustainable winery, committed to responsible farming, thoughtful winemaking, and strengthening our community through education and collaboration.  In 2025 we became a certified B Corporation.
