Adoption-Share is a national nonprofit using technology, data, and cross-sector collaboration to transform how children in foster care find safe, permanent families. We believe every child deserves to be rooted in family, and we build tools that help child-welfare professionals remove barriers, streamline processes, and make better decisions—faster.

Our flagship technology, Family-Match, is a data-driven decision-support and connection platform that strengthens both family recruitment and family matching. Family-Match equips agencies to cast a wider net for prospective families, organize and track recruitment pipelines, and surface families who may never have otherwise been identified. By helping systems build larger, more diverse pools of resource families up front—and by supporting smarter, earlier outreach—Family-Match creates a stronger foundation for permanency.

Built with researchers, former eHarmony data scientists, and frontline practitioners, Family-Match uses predictive analytics and compatibility assessments to highlight the most promising family–child connections. States using Family-Match have seen meaningful improvements, including higher placement stability, increased placements for children with elevated needs, and more timely pathways to adoption.

Beyond technology, Adoption-Share convenes partners across government, philanthropy, and local communities to create statewide “sharing hubs” that amplify recruitment efforts and strengthen the ecosystem around foster and adoptive families.
