The ADOPTMATCH app helps connect expectant mothers, who are pursuing an adoption plan, with waiting adoptive families and their adoption professionals. AdoptMatch was designed by adoption attorneys and birth moms, to empower each expectant mother as she navigates the adoption process and to help her find the right family for her child. For expectant/birth mothers--> All Adoptive Parents on AdoptMatch are committed to providing Expectant Mothers with the honor, support, and advocacy they deserve throughout the adoption journey. All Adoptive Parents are working with ethical adoption agencies or attorneys who will make sure each Expectant Mother is offered her own attorney, the option of having a written post-adoption contact agreement and quality pre and post-placement support. AdoptMatch empowers each Expectant Mother to make a truly informed decision by giving her access to a wide range of potential adoptive families. When she submits a Request for More Information about a specific family, she is not bound to that family or their Adoption Professional. For adoptive parents--> All Adoptive Parents must be working with an AdoptMatch-Approved Professional, screened by AdoptMatch to ensure that they are practicing the highest standards of ethics in adoption. Important resources are provided to each Expectant Mother including expert counseling, separate legal representation, quality medical care and post-placement support.
