Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning “wheels of light” and refers to wheel-like vortices, which, according to traditional Indian medicine, are believed to exist in the surface of the subtle body of living beings. Each chakra is associated with a gland and a major nerve plexus and governs the area of the physical body in which it is found. By influencing the endocrine system and its hormones, the chakras affect the functioning and structure of the tissues of the body, including the organs. When the chakras are balanced, the body is in harmony.

The husband-and-wife team of Drs. Jyoti Srivastava, S, DDS, and Robert Castracane, DMD, bring over 35 years of dental excellence to their practice. Dr. Srivastava, a highly trained prosthodontist, and Dr. Castracane, a general dentist specially trained in dental implant surgery, lead a multidisciplinary team that includes a periodontist and a team of trained hygienists.
