Aero Aggregates of North America is a construction materials company that produces lightweight aggregate from 100% recycled glass. As the first vertically integrated, U.S.-based producer of this material, it supplies a free-draining aggregate with a high friction angle and thermal insulating properties from facilities in Eddystone, Pennsylvania; Dunnellon, Florida; and Modesto, California. The material is intended to help address civil engineering challenges such as constructing on soft soils, reducing lateral earth pressures, lowering structural loads, and protecting underground utilities. Its customers are construction and civil engineering projects seeking lightweight, sustainable fill and soil stabilization. In May 2026, Villanova University announced a partnership with Aero Aggregates to explore the use of open-cell foamed glass aggregate for green roof applications.
