AeroLogic is a cargo-focused airline formed as a joint venture of DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo, headquartered in Leipzig/Schkeuditz, Saxony, Germany. It operates with its own air operating certificate, traffic rights, and slots, and oversees aircraft, crews, routes, and flight operations. The fleet comprises 28 Boeing 777F freighters, and cargo on AeroLogic flights is allocated and processed directly by DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo through a shared operating model. The company was established in 2007 and commenced operations with its first flight in 2009, reflecting its long-standing role in the global cargo network. It provides greater capacity, higher flight frequency, and shorter transit times for shipments between Europe and Asia or North America. In January 2025, Marcus Niedermeyer was appointed Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer.
