Founded in 2001 in the Chicago area,  Afterschool Enrichment Solutions/Chess Scholars is dedicated to providing fun and educational programs to children nationwide. We’ve been featured in the Chicago Tribune and the Daily Herald! We provide Chess, Coding, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Robotics, Guitar, Spanish, Art, Sports and Drama programs at over nine hundred schools and community centers nationwide. Over 30,000 children attended our programs during the 2018-19 school year.
We take pride in our dedicated and responsible instructors, who are provided with a curriculum and thorough training to ensure our students’ rapid growth. In addition to providing a fun and enriching classroom environment, our instructors are trained to be autonomous and follow safe attendance and dismissal procedures.
At Afterschool Enrichment Solutions, we provide after school programs that are turnkey and efficient. We carry liability insurance, provide all the equipment, handle registrations, and provide the advertising materials. All of our instructors complete a rigorous background check and training. In particular, the instructors are trained to be self-sufficient, not expecting or requiring any support from the school administration or volunteers.
Our programs provide the opportunity for children to improve their academic performance and ability to build bonds with their peers. Research shows having a variety of after school programs can result in higher test scores for students while enhancing their social skills. With our after school programs, students can learn while having fun!
