Ag New Mexico Farm Credit is a rural lending cooperative that finances agricultural production, agribusiness and rural real estate, including farms, ranches, and rural recreational property. We are a part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, the oldest and largest source of rural financing in the United States.

We have a long history of serving the New Mexico agricultural industry. The cooperative was chartered as a Production Credit Association in 1934 to make production loans to farmers and ranchers throughout the state, at a time when agricultural producers did not have a reliable source of short-term credit. In 2001, we became a full-service lender, known as an Agricultural Credit Association, and expanded our lending programs to include rural mortgage loans.

Today, we finance all types of agricultural producers – big and small, new and established – as well as agribusiness firms in all sectors. In addition, we are a widely recognized source of long-term financing for rural real estate, from small acreages to sprawling ranches.
