The Aggregate and Ready Mix Association of Minnesota is a nonprofit trade association founded in 1950 that represents Minnesota’s aggregate and ready-mix sectors within the construction industry. Based in Eagan, the organization operates with an 18-member board and relies on several committees—including Executive; Aggregate Division; Ready Mix Division; and Technical—to guide its activities. Its core work includes promotion, technical and environmental education, lobbying, and networking to support concrete as a construction material. The association serves hundreds of members each year and collaborates closely with the Concrete Paving Association of Minnesota. It communicates member concerns and ideas to state agencies, including the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and the Local Road Research Board.
