The AGH University of Krakow, located in Kraków in the Lesser Poland region, traces its history to 1919 when it was founded as an academy focused on mining. It operates as a technical university that supports science and industry through teaching, research, and development, guided by its motto Created in labour, I serve labour and science. During 2026, the university expanded its external collaborations by signing partnerships with CES, an energy-sector engineering firm, and with Arteris Poland, a provider of advanced IP solutions in microelectronics, and it participated in Impact'26 in Poznań.
