AGMA Global is a nonprofit professional membership association based in Washington, DC, that brings together influential technology companies and intellectual property rights holders to address gray market activity. It concentrates on counterfeiting, software piracy, parallel imports, and service abuse of technology products worldwide, with the aim of protecting IP and safeguarding authorized distribution channels. The organization pursues change through events, educational programs, benchmark studies, industry guidelines, and, when appropriate, public policy advocacy. Founded in 2001, AGMA operates from the Washington, DC area and serves technology manufacturers, IP holders outside the tech sector, product and service providers, and government or law enforcement officials involved in these efforts. In 2026, the board elected Jean-Paul Durand as President and Catherine Trione as Vice President, Operations, effective February 25, 2026.
