Agropolis International, established in 1986, functions as a cross-stakeholder forum for actors working on agriculture, food systems, biodiversity, and the environment. The association brings together over forty institutional members, including universities, public authorities, and civil society organizations. Its core strength derives from a robust scientific base in the Occitanie region that is internationally recognized for its work in these fields and is open to developmental questions in the Global South. The organization pursues three objectives: to facilitate exchanges within scientific communities, to promote dialogue between science and society, and to support public policy. It offers a suite of services designed to support its members and partners in individual and collaborative projects.
