AIA Minnesota is the professional association for architects in Minnesota, functioning as the state component of AIA National and coordinating with three local chapters. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the organization maintains a small professional staff and serves nearly 2,300 members. Founded in 1892, it supports advocacy, continuing education, and chapter coordination for its members. Across its statewide network, it provides services to all chapters, organizes a regional convention, and publishes ENTER, which is issued digitally biweekly and in print annually. It also lobbies at the state legislature on behalf of the architecture profession and delivers continuing education to members. In 2024, Carl Gauley, AIA, received the Residential Emerging Architect Award from AIA Minnesota.
