AIA Pennsylvania is the statewide component of The American Institute of Architects. Although independently incorporated, it is officially linked to the National AIA and to the eight local AIA chapters in Pennsylvania. The organization serves a statewide membership of more than 3,000 architects and related professionals, operating from its Harrisburg headquarters with a full-time professional staff and a network of volunteer committees. It represents architects in state government affairs and advocates public policies that emphasize good community design and the stewardship of the built and natural environments. Governed by a statewide Board of Directors representing all eight local chapters, its work is conducted from the Harrisburg office at 240 North 3rd Street, 12th Floor, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
