Since 1961 Aidan has remained steadfast in its mission as a Montessori school. While many schools incorporate elements of the Montessori philosophy into their traditional programs, an authentic Montessori model is so comprehensive that it is quite distinct. Aidan is the most established Montessori school in Washington, DC accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).
