The Tribal VISTA Project is an initiative of the American Indian Higher Education Consortium. We work with AmeriCorps Volunteers In Service To America (VISTA) to place qualified VISTA members at Tribal organizations throughout the country, from New Mexico to Alaska.  VISTA is a one-year, full-time, paid service opportunity.  Our VISTA assignments help these institutions build capacity in three areas: education, environmental stewardship, and behavioral health. Members spearhead projects ranging from climate resilience workshops to native food classes and community mental health programs.
