AWS Labs Inc. was founded in 1994 with a mission to supply the Commonwealth of Virginia with reliable data that met project requirements and reflected a strict standard of quality control.  AWS Labs quickly became known for its reliability to provide quality in data as well as providing strict adherence to turn around time requirements.

In 2001, the growing lab relocated allowing ample space for future growth.  In 2003, W. Guy Becker joined AWS Co-founder, Carmela Liscio Tombes, as business partner and set in motion the necessary financial management to grow and expand the company.  In the following years the laboratory tripled in volume finding it necessary to expand once again.

In 2013 AWS moved the laboratory into a 25,000 sg.ft. facility located just off I-95 in South Richmond, VA.  The new facility located at 1941 Reymet Road, Richmond, VA allows for continued growth and expansion of our client base and area of service.

AWS has extensive experience analyzing Wastewater, Groundwater, Drinking water and Solids.  We have built our business on the quality of our work, the reliability of our turn around times and our customer service. Our laboratory provides state of the art instrumentation with redundancy throughout the lab to ensure timely and reliable results.  AWS has always provided an extensive courier pick up and delivery system that reaches over four states.
